People have questions concerning E3.

The infamous show floor known as E3 has existed and has been hyper for for two to three decades. Normally hosted in a huge California Convention Center, E3 would take the space and expand to be the huge annual show floor. Giving everyone a glimpse of games coming soon in the future. However, things haven't been going well.

We need to go over a set of recent events that we all know. We did have E3 2018, good show and could have been better. E3 2019 was a disappointment (an situation later in the year gained controversy and was covered by numerous news outlets). In 2020, the COVID pandemic was in consequence, forcing the cancellation for the year followed by the committee helping promote livestream shows. 2021 was an online livestream only show that did terrible. E3 2022 was canned but 2023 was supposed to be a physical event again. Now, E3 2023's cancellation was announced. With all these sudden cancellations for this year and last, we are looking at potentially more reasons than the COVID outbreak.

Summer Games Fest, like last year is being hosted again. Geoff Keighley will be hosting once again. Summer Games fest 2022 kicked off as it replaced E3 2022. The livestream show was alright. However, we might see improvements for this year's Summer Games Fest. If E3 goes out, will this SGF keep remaining?

Also, Tokyo Games Show, kicked off in 2021 and 2022. In 2023, TGS should still be a thing. For 2021 and 2022, they did virtual show floors for those on PC and those with VR headsets like Ocu....oh right, Meta Quest 2 for example. Also TGS 2021-2022 was a livestream show as well. Unless TGS staff says something comes up. TGS might still be doing the livestream show and the VR show floor.

We have concerns but we can all agree that E3 might be meeting a dark fate. Time will tell.
