Next Gen Suspicions

Of all the events that have happened in eighth generation of gaming, that being the days of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, there has been something that has been itching at me. What would happen to the new generation being the ninth? Some industry folks have been making statements but you never know. We now live in a world where the most ironic especially the absurd actually happens. I have plenty of concerns. We don't even know the fate that ninth gen holds.

Will people actually inspire from Google's Stadia?
Google Stadia surfaced and came out a complete failure. You have heard about from your favorite YouTuber. It was a disaster. Perhaps Sony and Microsoft will learn either that cloud gaming isn't really a great idea now or otherwise. Let's not hide the fact that you need a good as hell internet connection. But then again, it is becoming literally a part of human responsibility to find an internet provider who is reliable and offers the fastest speed. Corporations love to rush people when it comes to technology.Anyway, Sony and Microsoft will look at Stadia and see the convenience of cloud gaming more rather than where it fell and could double down on it. Something like what Stadia does cuts costs of making units. That said, we don't know when the two would decide to shove cloud gaming down everyone's throats.
Will consoles have fall despite success?
The convenience of console gaming has you just inserting a disc and grabbing a controller so you can just sit and enjoy from the couch in the living room. That being said, it is obvious that PlayStaion 5 and Xbox Scarlett is going to sell millions or billions. But despite all the success and huge stocks going to be made, we might see them fall from grace quick as the pools of money can serve as a landing bed. PC Gaming is seeing huge increases as they can easily out-power consoles in terms of specs, offer more freedom, and provide free online play. As for Consoles, specs are limited as some games could use a PC port, You get less freedom as you can't mod or have to hack to play home brew, and you spend more money online when it comes to subscription fees for PSN+ or XBLive Gold. Worse, Sony's strict international policy going down and stupidly strict on adult rated games can show that your libraries can be dictated. Numerous writings on the wall are beginning to show that PC gaming is becoming more recommended but soon to be mandatory for your Gaming needs. Your friends may soon be on Steam as you have to play catch up and search for a GeForce GTX powered desktop. A majority hates the Epic Game Store, but why are we seeing EA Origin, UPlay, and Rockstar Launcher as well? However, what will become of PlayStation 6 or will there be a tenth gen?

How can we maintain of gaming entertainment?
GO MULTI-PLATFORM! Start off getting a gaming PC first. Then, decide whether to work your way to getting a Nintendo Switch or Xbox. That or either go to retro gaming as the folks of Retro-Bit and Analogue have been making systems that run off cartridges and providing accessories for older consoles as part of the acts to preserve the old days of gaming. Consider getting your gaming PC, a console, and a way to go retro. You will multiple platforms and your library will be expanded. If one platform goes to shit, you have another until you do whatever for maintenance. It is best in the future of gaming to not stick to one platform and aim for two or more, You will be saving yourself.
