GUESSING the release date for Your Waifu Foxgirl Konko!

    Last year, there was a Kickstarter campaign hosted by DLSite to help Megami Soft begin work on not only a Live2D upgraded version but an English translated release. The game is titled Your Waifu Foxgirl Konko and it is a slice of life mixed with simulation. Thanks to niche gaming audience and anime audience uniting, the Kickstarter was a success and it was a tough fight to get that campaign to meet the goal. However, thanks to a certain worldwide incident, the game was delayed till Summer 2020. However, we haven't gotten a clear release date. SenpaiboySP may have theories in terms of the release date.

    It is very common on specific niche games that games tend to release out of the blue without even a single announcement of a release date. The fact that any developer of specific games would not say the release date and then release it out of the blue is no surprise. Besides, the developer wanted more time to polish and fine tune their experiences. There is a clue that may help with the release date theories. That clue is the 4 panel comic series.

    The 4 panel comic series was announced at the official Kickstarter page. As stated by devs, this 4 panel comic would be translated to English by DLSite and would make debut near the release of the game. So far we are getting our third issue of the comic so far and the comics seem to release at a weekly basis. The question remains, how many of the comics are there? They can depend on an extra question. How many were released back in Japan? The answers to these two questions remains unknown. My guess is that we could be looking at the 6-12 range on the comic releases. However, if the guess were to be the case, we may be looking at a release in the range between late August and mid-September before Fall 2020. We still notice that Summer 2020 release persistent.

REMEMBER THAT THIS IS A THEORY OR A GUESS TOWARDS THE RELEASE OF THE GAME! I MAY BE PROVEN WRONG LATER. ALSO REMEMBER, THE DEVELOPERS MAY BE LOOKING FINE TUNE THE GAME TO PURE GOLD. LET'S ALL WAIT AND SEE AS TIME MAY ONLY TELL.
