Don't stick to one platform for gaming!

Gaming on one platform isn't going to be really enough for your gaming needs one day? I see people declaring how one console is better or PC gaming is better. However, not only PlayStation, XBox, Switch, or PC is better. All systems are better. Going multi-platform kills off unnecessary dilemmas and creates a happier ending for the gamer. There is some issues such as space and input plugins. However, getting your hands on as much consoles and platforms has a great benefit. More games to play.

Owning multiple platforms to game on carries a greater benefit that should be well acknowledged. The more games you have access to, the more games will you decide to play. Multi-platform gaming is a bit tough but a highly rewarding path. I ended up taking on the path and I come to realize how much happier I am as I notice my library expands and I run into less dilemma when it comes to games. For example, exclusives. When it comes to exclusives, games will be made and released on one specific console. Owning a PlayStation and an Xbox allows to play Uncharted and Halo both. You will be more happier with a much expanded library offered. There are many things I had to consider and learn when going the multi-platform route.

- Get a gaming PC first: The future of gaming might be dependent on PC Gaming. Why do we see Uplay, EA Orgin, Epic Game Store, and GOG Galaxy alongside Steam? Because more and more people are starting power their desktops with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX or RTX  70 - 80 GPU. More and more people are signing up for Steam and getting it good especially when it comes to the sales on Steam. The online play is free except for MMO titles that require maintenance costs. Starting things off with Gaming PC is the best idea when going for more platforms.

- Go Portable: The Nintendo Switch, a hybrid console to play at home or on the go is the best thing to have. If you wish to save storage on your SD card which also something to have with your Switch, you have the cartridges that don't require any installs at all except for a few titles. If you are on the road, you may be a fan of gaming on Android. However, if you have an Android device (or iOS), you can stream your PC games through the cloud with Steam Link. Microsoft is seen to consider that idea for Xbox gaming. As long as you got yourself a good Bluetooth controller, you will have fun for example, playing Tekken 7 while you are in the lobby for your appointment.

- Go Retro: There are games of the past that you should not miss out on. If you do wish to get some retro game consoles, consider a separate setup to be your retro corner. Hunting down an NES and a few carts isn't the only method for your retro gaming experiences. You have the Arcade Archives lineups, mini consoles with built-in games, and the emulation scene. Visiting games of the past is a fun road to consider.

- More things made convenient: People have busted ass to make things easier. You have HDMI input switches and HDMI output splitters. Somebody has made the RetroTink upscalers for the retro enthusiasts. You also have a TV in your bedroom. People left and right have made products that served as solutions to making many aspects of gaming possible.

- PlayStation or Xbox (or BOTH): If the content policy has put a sour taste in your mouth, then going Xbox is understandable. If you happen to own a PlayStation and Xbox, you will be able to play Last of Us and Forza Motorsport both. Who is the best console does not matter. Owning them both is better than just one.
