Time to evaluate (again) my lovably dorky lobby waifu on CounterSide!

 

    This is Lone Lee, she is a support unit dedicated to de-buffing her enemies. She was a troubled villainess who was misunderstood and wanted something called LOVE. She had a dark path where she hated couples and it got her into trouble. The minute she had to bail herself out, she decided to stop going after couples. When I first reviewed her in my Gacha Waifu Review on TikTok before it was absorbed by Waifus of Gaming Traversare, I said how she was a cute and adorkable mad scientist lady. When she finally got an additional outfit I was happy. When the additional outfit was a swimsuit, I found myself enlightened. I fell in love with her more than I ever did. Now, I review her again to ensure my ratings were absolutely fair and justified. Whatever needs to due for her must be made. That said, does she hold or is the worst case scenario such the case and I underrated her?

Time to rant about something. BLOGGER IS BROKEN!

     I seem to notice how frustrating it is to put together a blog post with visual aid. It's really annoying. It is either you post the blog post without images or figure out what is going to work only to have the new method not work at all. I want to upload an image to a blog post discussing a character. One problem, uploading an image in Blogspot is broken as hell. So I click insert image and then click upload from computer. I am told to login to my Google. I hit sign in. I get a pop up to tell me to upload or drag and drop my image. I drag in my image. The progress bar says here ya go. Then I am back at the upload image prompt. I close off the popup only to find the image did not upload. It is really annoying. I tried copying and pasting but it works and then it decides to not work. It is complicated. Blogger or Blogspot needs a fixing real bad.

I am focusing more into retro games...but there is more.

  Yes, I am going to invest more time and get into more areas when it comes to retro game collecting. However, there is more than ever. I ran into multiple perspectives including doing the preservation by yourself with your retro collection, emulation, and backing up your collection. People have been encouraged to do the same.

I got Genshin Impact's Mualani so I messed around.

 

    Mualani is the latest 5-Star max rare lady to start off the journey to the Pyro nation, Natlan. To be honest and I wanted both Emilie after she debuted on the second half of 4.8 and her as well. I decided I would do anything to get her. Boy, am I glad to get her. Ever since I got her I spent extra amount of hours in Genshin Impact just so I can get into shenanigans playing as her. She is a hell of a blend of sexy and cute to say the least. Waifu ratings for her can be saved towards Gamerman's Lounge and Waifu Labs Lounge. For the time being I found a couple of crazy things about Mualani.

Bluestacks and Google Play Games don't count, You need a PC version.

     Games on the mobile space are have been evolving. The reason for this is because of the improved mobile tech. For example, we have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for example, that is especially doing ray-tracing features already. This doesn't necessarily mean we are near the future of our next favorite waifus wearing ray-traced outfits. We need to wait until budget phones catch up to the likes of at least, the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processors. Not only that, mobile developers need to keeping in mind of the storage and they yet seem to think that budget phones now have 512GB or more in standard. That said, there are some developers that release their mobile games that just get to ambitious, they should have even consider options such as STEAM for example.

Finding your next favorite game will be harder.

     I have been considering going retro for many years recently for a reason. I hopped on the retro scene, just in case all hell would break loose in the gaming scene. The indies and niche games scene has been great when it comes to delivering compared to AAA. However, you have certain actors meddling and getting in the way of things. As a result, creative freedom, video game preservation, and even consumer freedom is in serious danger. Not forget to mention, we are totally in the middle of a quality control crisis. That said, there might be a "winter" for gaming content.

CHANNEL UPDATE: The second reason behind the filler vacation.

 

    The lounge came up with the filler vacation that has been extended across June and July of 2024. The reason that was already mentioned was to give viewers of the Gamerman's Lounge a new upload every week and give something different from the usual content (Modern Games, Video Game Classics, Waifus of Gaming, and WOG: Traversare for example) while providing the lounge more breathability to get the usual content set up to be easily ready to go. However, there was a second but more MAJOR reason. The lounge has been made more aware of the events of 2024 so far and unpleasant developments of news in terms of Tech, Gaming, Anime, and Entertainment. As everyone is devasted about how much a mess that 2024 has become already, it was for the best that lounge will take measures to ensure we maintain the flow of content for Gameman's Lounge throughout the rest of the year and finally move on from 2024 to make room for 2025 when it comes to the main channel. There will always be a new upload a week for the lounge's main channel and content when it comes to SenpaiBoySP, TikTok/YTShorts, and Gamerman's Archival will still be produced throughout this year but more frequently than usual (even from out of nowhere). The lounge will be taking precautions to make game hunting in today's day more easygoing for our viewers such as one example, provide video game recommendation segues as we added two batches of games to the our list. The new years special will take the form of separate videos across December 2024. We look forward for the rest of the year and we look forward for 2025.

Evercade has big things going!

 

    Blaze Entertainment has to no surprise to the lounge, been going strong. More multi-game cart collections, firmware updates, and it didn't even stop there. Evercade didn't apparently have big enough reveals so the official twitter and YouTube became the grounds where the console lineup manufacturers wanted plenty to say and show. New hardware and accessories. Not just that, their introduction to the "GIGA" cart.

Addressing the hysteria towards female characters that dare be attractive.

     For a 10+ years there has been an instigated moral panic over video game characters that are female that are known to be really attractive. It has been ongoing and it has gotten worse. One of many things accountable of it, the excessive censorship of games have gone worse and worldwide.  People start to notice some more and are growing tired of it. It has gotten more bad to a point where it's not only unhealthy and damaging to creative freedom but also, anti-consumer. Just know, you are not alone when you concern about the situation. We express concern as well

    Thanks to Steam's Next Fest video game demo event, The lounge managed to check out a few games. However, one title ended up getting me hooked for hours. This game is called Crow Country. You will find this game releasing on Steam and it comes with a demo that you can check out right now. Another thing, the game has an official website. This game will be releasing for PC and PS5. Indie horror games are one good thing to have. It doesn't stop there and decides that we actually need a retro-style indie horror title. This mysterious title surprised us who played the demo and I anticipate this games completion and release with great hope.

Building the ITX gaming build and what I found out.

 

    

    To get further insight into hopping on the ITX gaming rig bandwagon. I hopped on the bandwagon anyway. The best course of getting into it was to essentially fuck around and find out. So that was the route I felt I needed to get into. Well, I also needed a build that would replace my gaming laptop that was severely outdated. That out of the way, what was it like for me to even attempt the ITX build and what did I found out? A great question to be asked.

The Gamerman's Lounge: AT THE END OF THE DAY! (It's all about fun....)

     The lounge has continued to make content regardless of what position I and the lounge is in. This is a another hobby of mine, I do this for fun. As a matter of fact, this is one of the things I am stuck with. This is where we head on over to the real world for a bit. You see, every action is a gamble. If you attempt something and something comes up, the realistic course of action, especially in today's times, is to call loss, shut everything down, back off, read the room, hold off, and re-evaluate your plans. This is essentially the issue with how things work in the real world. We have to be careful of our indoor, outdoor, and at home activities. Get plenty of groceries that will last you while because not only you have to be quick when you are doing your grocery run but you want to be careful with the frequency of your grocery trips. It is so that we don't end up in the middle of something going south. The food you get must be able to be eaten out of the packaging, cooked via microwave and/or air fryer, oven baked, cooked with boiling water, and etc. You will not be given a chance to cook on saucepans and pots on the stove. We have been in our free time, winding up with stationary hobbies such as gaming, movies, the web, novels, and comics. My activities in my free time have been gaming, surfing YouTube and TikTok, and content creation because these are the activities I can stick with on the safe side. Anything else I do, something goes wrong and it ends abruptly. That said, I needed something also that I can do alongside gaming and here I go, content creation and the Gamerman's Lounge.

The Unity Engine Incident.

 

    What you see here is a blog post made by Unity officially (LINK)! A blog post that has sparked a huge controversy due to the consequences that will drastically effect not just any developer using the Unity Engine, but will cause more of a dent on the gaming scene. This is the biggest summer blockbuster dookie show to close off the season. I would close this intro paragraph with saying how bad can it be. However, what would be the point if the spoiler was already out there in a mass?

Prime Day happened and we need to improve on the deals...

    I added a lot of things in my Amazon wish list knowing that Prime Day is coming around but when the 11 of July came around. I barely found items on my Wishlist on sale. There were two early deals that came before prime day. One on a audio mixer from Fifine and the other being a ITX PC case from Cooler Master. However, PC component deals I was able to find was Crucial's 32GB Ram and 2TB SSD. Unfortunately, not going to hide the fact that your ITX or Mac Mini clone build could have been more cheaper and with more options on a discount. 

Announcement of new segment....a spin-off segment??

DISCLAIMER: Keep in mind that Waifus of Gaming and Waifus of Gaming Traversare is focused on fictional female characters in video games.

     The Waifus of Gaming, a segment revolving around the fictional lovely ladies, has been the subject of racing to get more content for it. I have made sure that there was more and more episodes. However, it is of my deepest thought to consider something. After internal though processes throughout a few years, The Gamerman's Lounge will give Waifus of Gaming a spin-off. This spin-off will be titled "Waifus of Gaming: Traversare" and will explore the worlds of games and discover Waifus. We may discover the someone among the mobs we fight, a batch of girls to review, and maybe the next episode of Waifus of Gaming. Traversare has the goal to allow the lounge to delve together with the viewer and should some lady in the virtual plane cross our eye we check her out. I am excited to finally finalize on the spin-off segment I had in mind.

    Nvidia's GeForce RTX 4000 series hasn't been having a great time. Prices criticized for being too high, burning connection cables, and VRAM shenanigans. The new series RTX GPU has difficulty to gain appeal. Woes aside, Nvidia takes to their official website and announces not only 4060TI but the 4060. The 4060TI 8GB model releasing on the 24th of May, 4060TI 16GB and 4060 model releasing in July. It seems patience might be a virtue for those going for the cheap intentional 1080P tier GPU lineup. The reception seems to be mixed. Question being: How well might the 4060 and 4060TI do?

quick update.

     There has been very recent discovery that there is an incident involving video content trending on Twitter and sparked huge reactions. Upon investigation, SenpaiBoySP and the Gamerman's Lounge will not detail any of it. This is for the best as it is more than unsettling. Because this incident occurred as we are about to enter into Summer 2023, we hope for the best and this incident is not a sign of what is in store for the year's mid year season. Be careful and stay safe.
